This is one half of a Roadside Agate that is found south of the Badlands, South Dakota. The colors range from shades of tan and brown. This is an interesting material and comes in a variety of colors. These agates were found between 1979-1981. The outer edge of the stone is smooth and slippery from being polished by the elements.
This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The weight of this piece weighs 4 3/4 oz and is approx. 2 3/8 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches thick.
