Thunderegg Specimen - Item R02212

Thundereggs are agate-filled, and sometimes crystal filled, nodules found in various parts of the Western United States. This is also the official state rock of Oregon. This thunderegg is from the Moss Agate Bed at the Richardson Ranch in Oregon. This thunderegg has an area of Moss Agate with beautiful moss agate in orange and green with clear and light blue agate around it. This stone will be a great addition to your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 2 3/8 oz and is approx. 2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches thick at it's thickest point.
