Thunderegg Specimen - Item R02203

Thundereggs are agate-filled, and sometimes crystal filled, nodules found in various parts of the Western United States. This is also the official state rock of Oregon. This thunderegg is from the Moss Agate Bed at the Richardson Ranch in Oregon. This thunderegg has a large area of clear and light blue agate that allows you to see into the stone. There is some visible green moss in the clear agate. This stone will be a great addition to your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 7 1/4 oz and is approx. 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches thick at it's thickest point.
