Moss Agate Thunderegg Specimen - Item R02201

Thundereggs are agate-filled, and sometimes crystal filled, nodules found in various parts of the Western United States. This is also the official state rock of Oregon. This thunderegg is from the Moss Agate Bed at the Richardson Ranch in Oregon. This thunderegg has a large area of Moss Agate. Beautiful moss agate in orange and red with clear and light blue agate around it. This stone will be a great addition to your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The piece weighs 8 1/8 oz and is approx. 4 inches wide and 2 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches thick at it's thickest point.
