Thunderegg Specimen - Item R02278

Thundereggs are agate-filled, and sometimes crystal filled, nodules found in various parts of the Western United States. This is also the official state rock of Oregon. This thunderegg is from the Richardson Ranch in Oregon. This piece has both solid agate center and a crystal pocket. The clear agate allows you to see down into the stone. It will make a great addition to your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 2 3/4 oz and is approx. 2 inches wide and 2 inches tall and 1 inch thick at it's thickest point.
