This piece of Brazilian Agate is solid and has colors ranging from white to dark brown. The pattern in this specimen is very unique. This agate was formed during two different periods. The first was the circular outer section which left a open center pocket. This pocket was later filled by layers of sediment which formed into the horizontal banding. This is a very nice piece of agate.
This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 2 1/2 oz and is approx. 2 5/8 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches thick.
