This is part of a Fossilized Dinosaur Bone which has been cut and sanded. This piece is mainly dark brown and red. The pattern is very beautiful. The outside of this specimen has a course feel to it (almost looks the same as petrified wood but the texture is different. This piece is from the western United States and was collected in the early to mid 1960's.
This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The piece weighs 8 3/4 oz and is approx. 2 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches thick. This piece will make a great addition to any collection.
