Youngite Brecciated Jasper Specimen - R02985

This piece of Youngite which is a brecciated jasp-agate that is typically coated with a fine druzy quartz. The piece has reddish brown to dark reddish brown jasper surrounded by light gray agate. There are also a few very small crystal pockets within the agate. The back side of the specimen is covered with fine druzy quartz. Youngite is from Guernsey, Platte County, Wyoming. Truely a beautiful piece for your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The piece weighs 8 5/8 ozs and is approx. 4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches deep (at its thickest point).
