Thunderegg Specimen - Item R02926

Thundereggs are agate-filled, and sometimes crystal filled, nodules found in various parts of the Western United States. This is also the official state rock of Oregon. This thunderegg is from the Moss Agate Bed at the Richardson Ranch in Oregon. This thunderegg has agate that runs from clear to blue to light red and with the clear agate you get a 3-D effect. This stone may be small in size but is very beautiful. This stone will be a great addition to your collection.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 2 1/4 oz and is approx. 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall and 1 inch thick at its thickest point.
