Kentucky Geode - Item R02840

This is a Geode Kentucky (found in South Central Kentucky) which has been cut open and the outer edge has been polished. Most of the face is made up of solid crystals with a little agate, and there are 2 very small pockets (one clear one at the very center, a darker one slightly above and to the left). This is a very nice display piece.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 14 3/4 oz and is approx. 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 7/8 inches tall and 2 inches thick.
