Carnelian Agate Specimen - R02839

This piece of Carnelian Agate is solid and has colors ranging from light yellow to brown and has some very small crystals on the face. Agate has plumes instead of banding and with agate is semi-clear so it gives a 3-D effect. As with most stones, this specimen has natural fractures and flaws. This Carnelian Agate is from Oregon.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 5 1/2 oz and is approx. 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches tall and 2 inches thick.
