Mexican Coconut Specimen - Item R02804

This is one half of a Mexican Coconut which has an agate exterior with solid crystals and a crystal pocket. This specimen has banding around the outside. Banding consists of clear agate as well as white and gray bands.
If you look closely, at the top left side, you will see small tubes projecting down into the clear agate. This gives a very nice 3-D effect. There are very nice crystals inside the pocket. The coloring of this specimen runs from a white to gray.

This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The specimen weighs 2 pounds 10 5/8 oz and is approx. 5 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches thick. This piece will make a great addition to any collection.
