This is half of a Dugway Geode from Dugway, Utah. The Dugway Geode is Utah's version of a Thunderegg.
This piece has a nice crystal pocket with very small crystals (not shiny). Nice agate banding around the crystal pocket.
This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The weight of this piece is 1 pound 1 5/8 oz and is approx. 4 1/4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches thick at its thickest point.
A display stand comes with purchase of this item. (Size 2)
Reacts to Shortwave UV light (UV 254nm). Agate and crystals turn Green. (The stone shown under UV is not this actual stone, just a representation of what they look like).
