This piece of Agate is from the Eagle Valley Ranch in Antelope, Oregon and was collected in 1981 on a rock hunting trip by my parents. The stone is made up of bluish-gray and clear agate which has a beautiful banding pattern. The clear agate allows you to see details down inside the agate giving a great 3-D effect. The outer surface of the stone is faded green and brown, with the agate runs all the way through the stone. There are a couple of natural fractures visible in this specimen.
This piece has been high speed sanded which gives it a high shine. The piece weighs 3 1/4 oz and is approx. 3 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches thick.
Display stand is included with this specimen. (size 1)
